The Project

For Emmanuelle and Simone I envisioned a total color wedding: a celebration of sincere, vibrant hues running through the whole day, from the ceremony in the 15th-century sanctuary of Santa Maria in Bressanoro in Castelleone to the medieval courtyard of Castello di Camairago.

Purple allium, fuchsia peonies and yellow gerberas took center stage, woven together with delphinium, oxypetalum, lisianthus, pink pepper and fragrant lavender. The floral story began with the most intimate details — the ring pillow and the boutonnière — then lit up the sanctuary's frescoed nave with pew-side arrangements and candles, finally bursting into the bride's bouquet, a posy full of light and joy.

At the castle, flowers dressed the cobblestone courtyard: colorful centerpieces on crisp white tables, the lush arrangement of the sweetheart table, and a vintage-radio-themed seating chart dotted with allium and gerberas. Closing the day, the cake cutting framed by flower garlands and light fountains: the final image of a celebration that never stopped blooming with color.
