The Project

In the centuries-old park of Villa Toscanini, the eighteenth-century residence on the banks of the Serio river that was once home to Maestro Arturo Toscanini, Monica and Vittorio chose a total white wedding: a symphony of pure whites and fresh greenery, as luminous and precise as a musical score.

For the ceremony in the park I envisioned a grand floral arch of hydrangeas, white roses and delphinium, with generous ground arrangements and an aisle traced in snow-white petals between white Chiavari chairs. The same language ran through every detail: the bride's soft, unstructured bouquet, the groom's phalaenopsis orchid boutonnière, the seating chart suspended among ribbons and greenery.

At the reception the tables were dressed with roses, lisianthus and eucalyptus, beneath crystal chandeliers floating in the green of the garden. And as night fell, the cake cutting — framed by a circular arch of white flowers and sparkling light fountains — closed the day on its final, brightest note.
